“And his disciples asked him, saying, what might this parable be? And he said, unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see and hearing they might not understand.” Luke 8:9-10
The keys of the kingdom are given to us the children of the kingdom to know and to make known to the world the mysteries of the kingdom of God. As children we have access to the secret chambers of our Father God to see and to declare to the world His eternal plan.
‘Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.’ Amos 3:7
The secret of God is with His prophets. And by the grace of God, I am one of those prophets: As a New Creation in Christ, I have the prophetic anointing upon my life to speak what God has already spoken. My duty is to make known to the Church, and also to the world the hidden wisdom of God which He ordained before the world unto our glory.
‘But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.’ 1Corinthians 2:9-12
There are many things that God has in store for us that we do not know. The Bible called them, ‘The deep things of God.’
One of the reasons why the Spirit of God (the Holy Spirit) is given to the believers is for them to know the mind of God, and to declare that mind to the people of this world.
